This is one in a suite of photos (beginning here) taken in the home of either Delmar Watson or his brother, Coy Jr., on the occasion of my mother's 33rd birthday. Here she does her best to ape the famous cartoon sailor of yore. But I have no clue as to why this appears to have been a Popeye-themed birthday. Lightly retouched to remove a few spots and scratches on white blinds in background.
