Pre-Hallowe'en festival on the grounds of Oxnard Ave. Elementary School ~ No. 1 (probably October 1957; actual size approx. 7.6 x 9.5 in. (19.4 x 24.2 cm.)). My father has somehow obtained clearance to come to the school grounds to photograph this festival. That's me in the foreground, in the skeleton suit. (At the time I thought these chintzy, pre-fab rayon Hallowe'en costumes were so cool that I fancied manufacturing them someday!) Shoring up the rear is the teacher of this 2nd-grade class, Mrs. Kornberg, in the Daisy Mae Scragg get-up (in which, come to think of it, she looks pretty good).
